3 - Classic Scallop Circles (cut one each of the 3 larger sizes from
                                               different colored cardstock)
Foam Tape
Adhesive
Brads
Gold Acrylic Paint
Water Color Pencils
Watercolor Brush

Stamps Used:  Great Impressions StickableStamps
July Stamp of the Month:  #C4358 "What's the Buzzz?"
                                                                          #F529S Beehive

Spellbinders Nestabilities:  Classic Scallop Circles Large

Cuttlebug Texture Folders:  Stars
                                                Cheetah

Paper:  "Sweet Days" collection by Echo Park Paper Co.

Instructions:

To watercolor your image merely stamp your image onto smallest of the 3 Scalloped Circles once stamped using your Cheetah texture folder run your stamped image through your Cuttlebug or die machine this will  give more texture to the image .  Using your watercolor pencils begin coloring in your image.  I typically begin in the center using lighter colors first and then blending in the darker colors as I go.  Once I have an area complete I then use my watercolor brush and water to smooth out the color and move highlights around, allowing to dry in between time.
Once dried you can embellish with brads, glitter, etc.

Using the photo above you can now begin building your card.  Take the 5" x 5" piece of colored cardstock and texturize it using the Stars texture folder.  I then cut each corner of the square going in 1" FROM THE POINT.  The pieces that are cut off are then used as photo corners.

Stamp your phrase, mat it and I used several layers of foam tape to give it a 3-D effect.

to create the gold dots I used the end of my stylus dipped it in gold acrylic paint and "stamped" it on the corners.

1-5 1/2" x 5 1/2" Patterned/Solid Color paper
1-1" x 6" strip of paper
1-2" x 6" strip paper
1 tag (1" x 2 1/4")
1-piece of paper to stamp image on
1-piece of paper approximately 4 1/2" x 6" for matting stamped image
Brads
Ribbon
Stickles
Stamp Pad - Brown
Gel Pens and Colored Pencils
Red Line Tape - something similar that is strong
Instructions:

Stamp image of your choice onto paper; leaving approximately 1/4" border on all sides trim away excess paper.  Color in you image.  I wanted bright colors in certain areas of my image (ie. umbrella and hat) so I colored those areas using gel pens.  I then finished the rest of the image coloring using colored pencils and a blender stick to blend and smooth the coloring.

Stamp your "message" on the tag.

Once your image is colored using coordinating paper mat your image.  For the ornate borders on the top and bottom of my mat I used one of Sizzix shapeabillities.  I cut out the pieces of the shape and adhered them to the top and bottom of the back of my matt :).  Distress the edges using your stamp pad. Add a decorative brad to each corner of your image.

Now you are ready to assemble, using the photo as a guide layer your papers on your blank card.

1.
5 1/2" x 5 1/2" Patterned/Solid Color paper

2.

1-1" x 6" strip of paper

*using a border punch along one edge to create a decorative edge*

3.

1-2" x 6" strip paper

4. matted image

5. Run a strip of red line tape the length of the border of the vertical strips

and add your ribbon  and a bow.

6.  Adhere your "message" tag by tucking slightly behind the ribbon.

Note:  Stickles was applied to the raindrops in this image.

15” Green dot ribbon
4@ 1” rings
Xacto knife
Cutting mat

The Great Outdoors 12 x 12 Mini Theme Kit is designed by Echo Park Paper Company.

In making 6 x 6 things. I like to use Bo Bunny blanks. On two of the 6 x 6 chipboard pieces turn them around to use manufactures holes as guide. Use ¼” hole punch to punch the two holes on the opposite side of chipboard. Two chipboard pieces have 4 holes, and the bottom chipboard has 2.

1st square: Using ZipDry glue 6 x 6 starry print to top chipboard piece. Put glue on chipboard it works better that way. Use bone folder to smooth paper in place. Turn over and trim extra paper with knife. Use a nail file to sand edges smooth with chipboard. Punch holes out of the paper.
Glue a 2 x 6 icon print to the top of the 6x6 piece. Punch out holes again. Trim extra paper, sand.
Punch out edge using 1 x 6 dk brown cardstock and paper edge punch.
Glue down edge, butting it up to the icon print paper. Trim extra paper,  sand.
Glue ¼ x 6 plaid print over seam of two previous papers. Trim extra paper, sand.
Use Chalk Ink to Ink edge of chipboard.
Glue Photo mat down at bottom, right above holes. Do NOT cover holes. Centering left to right.
I used “The Great Outdoors” and “a camping we will go”. I did stick two stickers together to make one big one. I used foam mounting tape to stick them down. Follow the Picture for placement.
