Happy Birthday cupcake card by Tammy Maddux


Cupcake birthday card

Supplies needed: Card blank from Paper Accents in a rose or dusty pink, pattern papers from HOT OFF THE PRESS 6"x6" Rosemary & Thyme paper pack, stickers are by HOTP  Cupcakes Mixems Dazzles, Layered Banner Template from HOTP, and stamps from Hero Arts. You will also need a good pair of detail scissors, paper trimmer, adhesive, foam tape, and black ink. Oh and some white card stock.

Directions: Fold card blank and ink edges if you want to. Cut a pattern paper to 4"x5.25", ink edges and adhere to front of card blank. Chose another peice of paper and using template trace around banner that you like (note use the opposite side of paper to trace on) and cut out, then ink edges. Pick out which of the cupcakes you want to use and put on the extra banner pattern paper (you will have three different sticker color choices), cut around the cupcake peices and adhere to card front. Stamp "Happy Birthday" and cut out. Adhere to small banner peice then using foam tape, adhere to larger banner peice. Now adhere to top of card. Use extra stickers to fill empty spaces.
Now for the inside. Use another sheet of pattern paper and cut to 4x5.25", ink edges and adhere to inside of card blank. Stamp "Special wishes" on white card stock then mat with a rose or pink card stock and then mat onto white. Chose a cupcake and stick it to the top part of stamp. Now adhere to left side of card inside. Cut a peice of white to fit area of card inside and ink edges, adhere to that area. Embelish with a cherry and write your personal message.

Valentine Jar by Tammy Maddux


"Valentine's Jar" by Tammy M.

Supplies needed:  rose card blank, pattern paper (used DCWV), ivory card stock, stamps from Hot Off the Press (sweet preserves) and Inkadinkado(60-30299 with all my heart), black ink, detail scissors, paper trimmer, rose or pink 1/8th" ribbon, adhesive, and Spectrum Noir markers.


Instructions:  On stamp block, place jar then add hearts and words to inside. Arrange as wished, then stamp with black ink on ivory card stock. Cut to leave boarder just by image. Color hearts. Stamp on pattern paper the lid skirt and cut around image exactly.

Cut out of pattern paper, one 5 1/4"x 4" to make background.  Ink edges on card blank and jar with black ink.

Adhere background to card blank, then adhere ribbon in two strips about 1/2" from both sides (refer to photo). Adhere jar to card in an angle, then adhere lid skirt to just under the jar lid.

Supplies needed: Rose card blank, pattern paper (used Pink Paislee), ivory card stock, stamps from Inkadinkado (60-30299 with all my heart) and Stampendous (crq165 kissing kiddos), gold stickers by Hot off the Press (Dazzlers boarders), black ink, scissors, paper trimmer, markers from Spectrum Noir, and adhesive.

Directions: Stamp on ivory card stock words and kiddos, the color as wished. Fussy cut both images. Cut pattern paper to 5 1/4"x 4"to make background. Ink all edges. Pick a boarder from sticker sheet and place on background about 3/4" from bottom. Adhere background to card blank. Adhere kiddos to right side of background above boarder. Adhere words to upper left corner.
