Back To School by Tammy Maddux

   
           Hello School  Back To School Card

   Supplies Needed: 
o   Olive – Card Blank from Paper Accents
o   “Summer Fun” 12” x 12” Scrapbook paper from Pink Paisley Designs
o   Gold Parchment cardstock – 8.5” x 11”
o   “Summer Messages” stamp set from Stampendous
o   Olive Pastel chalk ink from Colorbox
o   Medium corner rounder from EK Success Paper Shapers
o   Paper Trimmer
o   Scissors
o   Adhesive of your choice
Instructions:
o   Look over the “Summer Fun” scrapbook paper and decide which letters to use on the front of your card; keeping in mind that you will be using both sides of the paper and that you will need a strip that is 12” x 4”.
o   Cut 2 strips (from 12” x 4” strip) that measure 4” x 5 ¼”
o   Cut out the letters  S-C-H-O-O-L in the square shape.  Using the Medium Corner Rounder punch round all 4 edges on each letter.
o   On the Gold Parchment cardstock stamp “hello” and “you brighten my day”.  Cut out each phrase and again using the medium corner rounder punch all four corners of each phrase.
o   Ink all edges of the letters, phrases, and the 2 – 4” x 5 ¼” squares.
o   Adhere 1 - 4” x 5 ¼” to the front of your card and one to the inside of your card.
o   Adhere the letters in a tight Diagonal to the front of the card, so that it spells “School”; then adhere the “Hello” phrase in the upper right corner.
o   Adhere “You Brighten My Day” to the inside of your card.
