Senior Year - Scrapbook Page Layout

Supplies Needed:

  • 2 - 4" x 6" Photos
  • Plantin Schoolbook Cricut Cartridge 
  • Heritage Cricut Cartridge
  • 1 - 12" x 12" Black Textured Cardstock paper
  • 1 - 8.5" x 11" Black Cardstock paper
  • 1 - 12" x 12" Orange Textured Cardstock paper
  • 2 - 4 1/4" x 6 1/4" mats for photos - cut from Ledger Cardstock Paper
  • White Gel Pen or White Permanent Marker
  • White - Ink Pad
  • Black - Ink Pad
  • Orange Stickles - Glitter/Blue by Ranger
  • Jukins Diamond Glaze
  • 1" Fiskars Star Punch
  • 2" Scallop Punch - EK Success

Instructions:
  1. Using white ink stamp pad - ink over entire front of 12" x 12" Black cardstock page.  This will give the page a "chalky" look.
  2. Tear 2 - 12" x 1/4" stips of paper from the orange cardstock.  Crinkle for texture.
  3. Adhere the strips to the 12" x 12" Black cardstock.  Using the above photo as your reference. Adhere one strip along the top and the other down the left hand side of your page.
  4. Using your Plantin Schoolbook and Cricut machine cut a 4" Roly Poly Ribbon from your Orange cardstock.  Distress with black ink pad.
  5. Again, using your Plantin Schoolbook and Cricut machine cut a 2 1/2" circle from your 8.5" x 11" black cardstock page.
  6. Using 2" Scallop punch from EK Success punch 1 - Scallop circle from your orange cardstock.
  7. Using Fiskars 1" Star Punch - punch one star from your 8.5" x 11" black cardstock.
  8. Use the above photo as your reference:  Assemble the layers of your Roly Poly Ribbon.  Once you have the layers adhered, use the Orange Stickles and place one medium sized dot in each scallop - allow to dry.
  9. Once the stickles has dried - you may now write the school year in the center of the star and cover the entire Star using the Diamond Glaze - Allow to dry.  Optional:  when attaching star to ribbon layer try using a 3-D glue dot to add dimension.
  10. Using your Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge and your Cricut Machine cut your school letters in ALL CAPS - SHADOW  2 1/4"  from your black cardstock.
  11. Using your Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge and your Cricut Machine cut your school letters in ALL CAPS  2" from your orange cardstock.
  12. Layer the orange letters to the top of the black letters and adhere to the top right corner of your 12" x 12" Black cardstock page.
  13. Attach your ribbon to the top left corner of your 12" x 12" Black cardstock making sure to cover the cross section of the orange strips.
  14. Attach your photos to the ledger mats and adhere to your black cardstock page.
  15. Along the left margin write your students grade year ie.. "Senior"   Optional: Using your Heritage Cricut Cartridge cut a swirly accent from coordinating paper  - cover with orange stickles and attach to page.
